HEALTH Omega 3 Deficiency Research

Harvard University researchers have analyzed massive amounts of data to determine the impact of 12 dietary, lifestyle and metabolic risk factors such as tobacco smoking and high blood pressure, and used a mathematical model to determine how many fatalities could have been prevented if better practices had been observed.

While we are all aware how damaging, for example, tobacco smoking is to general health, it was amazing that omega-3 deficiency proved to be a major factor, responsible for as many as 96'000 death cases in the US per year: http://www.nutraingredients-usa.com/Research/Omega-3-deficiency-causes-96-000-US-deaths-per-year-say-researchers

HEALTH Brain Cancer Frequency Treatment Video

Here is a video about a study being carried out at 12 medical centers around the country to test the use of frequencies against brain cancer. This brain cancer "zapper" someday, so it is hoped, can replace the chemo and radiation now used for cancer therapy: http://videos.howstuffworks.com/sciencentral/3190-brain-cancer-zapper-video.htm

HEALTH Fungus Frequency Research

While many of the studies undertaken with frequencies concern cancer -- because it has become accepted that low intensity frequencies will influence the growth of cancer cells -- this one here researched how frequencies will influence the growth of fungus in vitro. They are actually two separate studies.

HEALTH Cancer Specific Frequencies Research

This is one of the more amazing studies as it has been registered with the Government (though carried out in Switzerland), published and can be found in PubMed. It shows that systemic treatment with frequencies is possible and showing great promise in the treatment of cancer. The full article can be bought on PubMed, I do have it but I can't link it because of copyrights: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19366446.

Who would have thought, just years ago, that we would see such studies carried out and actually published...

HEALTH Great Malaria Frequency Treatment News!

Malaria is a condition of which 500 million people are affected every year, with as many as 2.7 million dying, mostly children. Malaria is caused by a parasite transmitted by mosquitoes in warm and damp areas, especially in Africa. The parasites are becoming increasingly resistant against the available drugs.

Prof Henry Lai at the University of Washington in Seattle studied the mechanism by which artemisinin, a natural compound used against the malaria parasite, works to kill the parasite. It has to do with the interaction of artemisinin with iron that is stacked within the parasite. Looking at the iron stacks, Prof. Lai wondered whether treatment with an oscillating magnetic field could maybe kill the parasite.

Lab tests were successful and Prof. Lai published his work in 2000, hoping that others would take up the idea and develop units that could be used to treat malaria with magnetic fields. Unfortunately, this did not happen.

I saw Prof. Lai's study some three years ago and was amazed that 6 years after publication, no one had developed any application of it! So I set out to do just that. It took 12 months to develop three prototypes of the device. They are man-sized devices, the larges one almost 2 meters (7 feet) tall. While developing the units, we started to network with African Governments in endemic areas to see whether we could run a test wit the devices. Finally we had the blessing of the Ghana Health Ministry. My right hand Konrad and myself traveled to Ghana in February of 2008 to start the tests.

How to get three large units into an African country is a science in itself, but we finally sailed around all cliffs and were ready to go. Our first aim was to try the treatment with patients that had los levels of parasites, just to see whether there would be any adverse effects. We worked with 4 patients. There were no adverse effects, but also the before and after tests showed that malaria was cleared in a very short treatment time with our units!

We then went on to work with a hospital to treat a larger number of patients -- the goal was to treat some 30 patients. After a few days we realized that we could not use those tests because the lab at the hospital bungled al lour blood test slides. At the end of our time in Ghana, we had only our first 4 (but very good) results and the useless hospital experience. We did not have the time to continue at that time but instructed a local professional on how to use the machines.

Now our first study is finished and 26 patients were treated. Out of the 26 patients, all except one became negative with the magnetic treatment! One felt worse the day after treatment started and decided to go for medication instead, so he dropped out of the study. The other 25 patients all became negative. And the ones who did not have high levels of parasites, were negative right after the first 60 minutes of treatment! This is so fast that we do not really have an explanation of how it could work so quickly. But the results are nothing short of sensational.

Now our goal is to do a second study and to get others on board to turn this into a household unit for treatment of malaria.

HEALTH Chronic Fatigue Virus

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), in the UK sometimes also called ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), is a disease which inflicts more and more people. The symptoms can be manifold, but always includes lack of energy and fatigue, to the point where some CFS sufferers will only be able to get out of bed for an hour a day. Lack of ability to focus, muscle pains and many other symptoms can also be part of the picture.

Orthodox medicine has no answer as to what is really causing CFS, but some factors have been known. Many patients will, for example, develop CFS after an acute infection with Epstein Barr Virus, a type of Herpes virus. In holistic medicine, it has been found that CFS patients are usually heavily burdened with heavy metals and other toxins, and also with parasites or other pathogens.

Some new research suggests that another virus is also implicated in CFS: It is a little known virus called XMRV. While only 4% of the general population have this virus, so do two thirds of CFS sufferers.

HEALTH Epstein Barr Virus and Multiple Sclerosis

Viruses could be involved in a number of autoimmune conditions. A recent study links the ubiquitous (i.e. found almost anywhere) Epstein Barr Virus with Multiple Sclerosis: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/09/090914111535.htm.

Dr. Clark has said that parasites are involved in causing MS. She has also said that parasites quite frequently bring along viruses, and that in fact persistent viral infections usually have an underlying parasite infection. Certainly interesting information when one tries to get rid of a viral infection.

It is also interesting to note that bio feedback testers have reported for many years that they frequently find high viral loads in persons with MS. Borrelia (the bacteria causing Lyme disease) have also often been reported to be connected to MS.

So, the overall picture is still blurry, but it seems some progress is made in finding out what really causes this autoimmune condition.

HEALTH Small Currents Zap Cancer Cells

While Dr. Hulda Clark was pretty much alone in advocating small electric currents in the early nineties, a number of studies has sprung up in the last few years showing the usefulness of such currents. Now a newer report elaborates on the mechanism of how small electric current can influence cancer cells: http://www.mydigitalfc.com/news/disruption-cancer-cell-replication-electric-fields-343.
